Al-Shabab claims Somalia Army chief suicide attack

Somalia Army chief survived a suicide attack in Mogadishu on Monday after an explosion targeted his convoy occurred near the main army hospital.

The commander left the ministry of Defense some minutes before the attack targets his vehicle at Tarbuunka area in Hodan district.

According to the government spokesman, Ismael Mukhtar Omar no casualties caused by the massive attack but resulted in minor injuries.
