AMISOM Soldiers allegedly kill two in Afgooye town

At least two have been confirmed died and two others injured after remote control bomb targeted with AMISOM convoy passing in Abdow-Dibile village in the outskirt of Afgooye town situated 30km south of Mogadishu.

Reports indicate that the two people died after AMISOM soldiers opened fire on civilians who happened to be at the scene during the explosion.

Troops of AMISOM launched operations to pursue the perpetrators though no one was arrested for the explosion.

The inspection curtailed the movement of people and public vehicles for hours.

AMISOM troops who come to Somalia to help Somalis, have several times opened fire on civilians after explosion incidents.

It was 2nd May this year AMISOM troops in Beledweyne town injured two civilians after an argument erupted between the soldiers and the residents.
AMISOM did not comment on the incident and the casualties caused by its soldiers.

 

It was 27th august 2012 when government forces backed by AMISOM troops dislodged Al-Shabab fighters from Marca town.
