At least 60 Somali owned shops were looted in Soweto town of South-Africa

At least 60 Somali-owned shops in the South African the town of Soweto have been attacked and looted by local residents. The attack and looting was carried out by armed locals
The situation is still tense as police trying to stop the mass looting of Somali and other foreigners premises in the town.
The minister for security of South-Africa and officials from the police took meeting with the Somali Diaspora living in Soweto of South-Africa to discuss about the matter and how the looting could be stopped.
The chairman of Somali community in South-Africa Amir Sheikh Hussein who spoke to Goobjoog FM stated they have agreed upon on that business people particularly Somalis to open their premises Monday to show their concern over the looting.
On the other hand minister for security of South-Africa underlined they would take legal action against anyone found looting properties.
The warning of the minister at a time when Somali community are state of confusion therefore they applauded the minister immediately they heard the statement,
