Banaadir Administration holds security conference in Mogadishu

Security meeting orginised by Banaadir regional administration was today held in Mogadishu chaired by the Governor of Banaadir administration and Mayor of Mogadishu Hassan Mohamed  Hussein Muungaab.

In the meeting Matters concerning heightened security measures were broadly covered, obstacles discussed and further solutions formulated.

National security minister Khalif Ahmed Ereg, Defence Minister Mohamed Sheikh Hassan Hamud, police commissioners and banaadir districts commissioners were present at the venue and they discussed the security situation of the capital Mogadishu.

The one-day security meeting focused on the challenges facing the city’s security and intensifying the ongoing joint operations against Al-shabab.
