Bari region, prominent elder killed in Bosaso

Reports from Bosaso town indicate unidentified armed men reportedly killed Osman Ahmed Askar in New Bossaso village who was very famous in Puntland regional state on Wednesday.

According to the locals, it is not yet known who was behind the killing of Osman Ahmed while the gunmen escaped from the scene. The security forces arrived at the point said they are investigating and searching the militias.

In recent days, the security forces were conducting regular operations which improved the security of the town before this incident in Bossaso.
