Bihi Ige elected second MP for Somaliland

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Bihi Iman Ige has been elected as the second MP for Somaliland in the just concluded exercise held in Mogadishu.

Ige got 92 votes while his opponent Abdirahman Hassan Ismail trailed with nine votes only.

Voting concludes today for the first two seats. The State Indirect Elections Team (SIET) has not made public the election schedule.
