Breaking News: Heavy explosion rams AMISOM convoy near Hawo Abdi locality

Heavy explosion that occurred near Hawo Abdi locality has killed unspecified number of people and others wounded.

Eye witness told Goobjoog FM the explosion was aimed at AMISOM convoy passing the area and hit two civilian vehicles at the scene of incident.

He added one of the vehicles was badly damaged by the explosion, the witness also confirmed to Goobjoog FM that he saw a number of dead bodies lying at the scene of the explosion.

The wounded people were rushed to Mogadishu and nearby health centers for treatment.
