Breaking News: Parliament Session on Cabinet Vote Opens

The parliament session to vote for the new cabinet has just opened with a sense of grief after the killing of MP Abdullahi Qayat this morning.

The speaker of parliament Mohamed Osman Jawari sent condolences to the family of the murdered MP, while putting into vote whether the session should be postpone due to the killing of the MP or go ahead with its business of the day. Majority of MPs voted for the later.

Then the house undertake voting for the sole agenda item for the day which to approve the cabinet and its programe.

PM Omar Abdirashid has taken to the podium to give speech about his cabinet.
