Breaking News: Somali journalists freed after a day in custody

Two Somali journalists, working for Radio Goobjoog Mohamed Salad Osman, head of programs and Ibrahim Haji Yussuf, a reporter were on Monday freed after detained without charge for one day.

The journalists were arrested on Sunday evening while on duty covering explosion that occurred at Waaberi district.

The National Union of Somali Journalists (NUSOJ) condemed the arbitrary arrest against the two journalist in Mogadishu on Sunday afternoon January 4, 2015 by the Somali security forces.
