Breaking News: The election of South West leader kicks off

The state formation conference in Baidoa opened and the election of the leader is going on actively.

The security of the city and the area where the election is going was was tightened by government forces and AMISOM troops.

Four of the candidates subsequently dropped out  their candidacy for Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan the former Speaker of transitional federal parliament of Somalia.

The committee has not yet announced the results.
