Deni backs Roble as Farmaajo faces public rebuke

GOOBJOOG NEWS|GAROWE: Puntland State becomes the second state after Jubaland State to laud the Prime Minister’s decision of giving marching orders to the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) Director Fahad Yasin Haji Dahir.
Puntland State presidency issued a statement last night expressing admiration and full support for Roble’s heroic move in settling the Ikran case according to the constitution; an event that had caused public uproar from several quarters of the Somali nation.
“The Puntland Government commends the FGS Prime Minister for his leadership role in the country, in particular his national security responsibilities, the conduct of the elections and the leadership of the National Consultative Assembly.”

The Government of Puntland also called all relevant parties to uphold and maintain peace especially during this tumultuous period nearing the country’s elections.

“The Government of Puntland calls on all concerned to safeguard the stability, unity and governance of Somalia, and to uphold the provisions of the TFC.”
