Elders Accuse Government Soldiers of Involvement in Defow Clashes

Elder Mohamed Ahmed speaking from Hiran has told Goobjoog FM the government has sent troops to take sides in the Defow clan clashes.

“The fighting in Defow was launched by the military which is taking sides in the conflict, we have evidence to proof that, they had army fatigue, and marked weapons, they are from Buulo Burde district” said the elder.

On the other hand the elder has refuted claims that there is a plan to incorporate Defow to Ethiopia.

But deputy Hiran governor for the federal government Sheik Hussein Osman Ali has told the media that Ethiopian paramilitary is evolved in the fighting.
