Failure of National Consultative Forum on 2016 election was caused Somali leaders, Says MP

A Somali parliamentarian has criticized the role Somali leaders played in the National consultative forum which ended three days ago without breakthrough.

Mohamed Abdulle Hassan (Fadhaye) told Goobjoog News that National Consultative Forum on the 2016 election has failed because of Somali leaders collision.

“It was clear that process used not based on the right way, Somali leaders failed reach agreement on Somalia’s problem and that led the national interest to fall into pit”

Somali Prime Minister Sunday said the leaders will consult once more and come up with another date when they will put heads together.

Time is fast running out for the leaders as the High Level Partnership Conference slated for February in Turkey comes up where they expect to present a common front on the electoral choice.
