First deputy president of Jubbaland appoints new district commissioner for Luuq

First deputy president of Jubbaland state has today dismissed the district commissioner of Luuq district from the office and appointed a new commissioner for the district.

A decree from the office of the first vice president of Jubbaland state Mohamud Sayid Adan has today appointed Mohamed Abdullahi Mude (Gardhuub) as the new Luq district commissioner as the former commissioner Mohamed Husein Osman (Ganey) has been superseded to the interior ministry of Jubbaland state.

Luuq is a town in the southwestern Gedo province of Somalia. It is one of the older settlements in the area.
