Galkio local government to demolish illegal buildings in the city

Local government of Kalkio began to demolish tens of buildings in city. The building marked as illegal buildings by local government and the civil engineers.

Yesterday local government tractors moved to demolish buildings inside main Galkio market after the ultimatum of mayor expired.

The mayor of Galkio Hirsi Yusuf Barre called residents to refrain from building inside public roads and public places in the town.

Some owners of demolished homes complained injustices and lack of adequate time to evacuate their properties.
