Galmudug state plans to carry out operations against Al-Shabab

Galmudug Administration stated that it is planning carry out operation to flush out Al-Shabab from areas under Galmudug State.

Dahir Mohamed, Galmudug information minister said that Galmudug forces supported by Somali National Army soldiers are advancing to Al-Shabab controlled areas.

“Galmudug has a target to flush out Al-Shabab from areas under the State, our forces are capable of dismantling Al-Shabab fighters” he said.

Somali government forces and Galmudug forces have been conducting operations to fight against Al-Shabab fighters latest being conducted where the soldiers took control of Wabho locality.
