Government hands over food aid to Banadir and Southwest state

Somali ministry has on Tuesday handed over food aid to the administration of Banadir region, the Southwest State and the families of the journalists who were killed in Mogadishu

These food aids which consist of flour and sugar is allocated for the vulnerable people in the Southwest State, Banadir region and the relatives of the journalists who were killed in Mogadishu.

The State Minister of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs of the federal government of Somalia honorable Abdirashid Mohamed Hidig who was at the handing over venue has wholeheartedly thanked the Turkish government which is the country which has donated the food aid.

The minister has admitted that the food will reach the right people who are allocated for the food and will be passed through the right people who will safely take to them.

The director general of the Ministry of Information and Tourism of the federal republic of Somalia honorable Abdirizak Ali Yusuf [Bahlaawi] representing the families of the Somali journalists who killed or wounded in Mogadishu, has said that it is very important to support the families of the deceased and wounded journalists in Mogadishu.
