Halt the Fight Pleads New Commissioner of Hiran

The New Commissioner of Hiran region Omar Adan Ibrahim has appealed to the tribes in Hiran region to stop the fight and choose peace as he travelled today to Beledweyne town.

Commissioner Ibrahim said it is painful to see local clashes and pointed out that people should take “the pen”, exercise peace and order.

“I appeal to the tribes fighting in Banyaley to stop the battle and contention s to be smoothed on the negotiating table. I want confrontation to be over in this region and peace to be our ultimate goal” said the new commissioner.

Besides, they will work on development and peace and to tighten the belt for reconciliation among Hiran people according to Commissioner Ibrahim.

This appeal comes amid a tragic confrontation of tribes is ongoing in Hiran region where death and injuries have been reporting on the fighting sides.
