Hargeisa International Book Fair enters its second day
The 8th Hargeisa International Book Fair has entered its second day in Hargaisa, Somaliland.
The annual Book Fair has drawn participants from 14 countries around the globe and is credited the biggest in East Africa.
According to chairman of Red Sea Cultural Organization, the agency that hosts the book fair, this year the slogan is “What is my Space?”, meaning the space of thinking, expressing, and the space of creativity.
The main three guests of honors has been invited from Nigeria, as organizers invite a certain African country each year.
There are other guests numbering 32 authors and others from 14 countries in the world.
Hargeysa Book Fair was the only in Somalia upto now, but this year Mogadishu International Book Fair is on the cards in Somalia’s capital from 26th August to 29th, 2015.
