Himilo national party demands 34,000 USD ordered by high court from federal gov’t

Himilo national party revealed the federal government has yet to pay damages ordered by the country’s Supreme Court in early April 2020 in connection with the September travel ban on president sheikh sharif to participate Jubaland president inauguration.

A senior party official told Goobjoog news that the high court had ordered the federal government to pay up to $ 34,000 but not yet released.

The party also accused the federal government continues to block politicians and citizens travelling to Kismayo following two senators travel banned to attend the funeral of former Jubaland education minister died in India last week.
