Mandera County confirms first two COVID19 cases during the number of confirmed cases raised 172 in Kenya Since the first case was reported in the country on March 12.

According to Mandera County Governor, Ali Roba the two cases involved two people who recently travelled from the coastal towns of Mombasa and passed through Nairobi arrived in Mandera town last week while they are asymptomatic.

Gedo region officials have restricted and tightened the crossings border of Somalia with Kenya after two people tested positive in the border town of Mandera on Tuesday.
