Kuwaiti lawmaker Ali Al-Deqbasi Friday called for helping Somalia face famine and drought.
In a statement to reporters on the sidelines of Arab Parliament’s foreign affairs and national security committee meeting, Al-Deqbasi said the Arab Parliament is interested in honoring aspirations of the Arab nations, expressing his hope that AP would meet some of these aspirations.
Time is ripe to reorganize the Arab League’s mechanism in order to achieve aspirations of Arab nations, leaders and governments, he stressed.
The lawmaker pointed out that all conferees agreed on the necessity of improving environment of joint Arab action.
He called for taking real measures to enhance Arab national security and help Arab nations live in peace and security.
