Latest News: Seven killed in attack on Makkah Almukarramah Hotel

Seven people have been confirmed dead and more others sustained injuries after gunmen attacked Makkah Almukarramah Hotel.
The hotel is now fully under the control of the militants and the fighting is still going on inside and around the hotel therefore the death toll may increase as unconfirmed reports state that there are  hostages inside the hotel.
“We are behind the Hotel Maka Al Mukaram attack and fighting is still going on inside the hotel,” Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, Al Shabaab’s military operations spokesman, told Reuters.
The hotel is popular with members of parliament and Somalis from the diaspora and has been attacked on at least three previous occasions.
