The other three FMS and Somaliland are yet to constitute their respective committees. Elections for new Senators were supposed to kick off on Sunday for three days.
Madobe is expected to announce his State list of candidates who will view for the eight seats. Goobjoog News has however learnt most of the yet to be unveiled candidates are Madobe’s cronies.
Puntland and Somaliland each are allocated 11 seats in the 54 member Senate while the other four FMS each get eight slots.

The delays are likely to eat into other electoral timeliness. According to the elections schedule, the 27,775 delegates are to cast their vote for members of Parliament from August 12 through to September 2.
