Micheal Keating in Galkacyo Town of Mudug Region, Somalia

United Nations Special Representative to Somalia Michael Keating arrived in Galkacyo town of Mudug region today with Somali police commander Bashir Mohamed Abdi.

Michael Keating was welcomed at Airport by officers of the Galkacyo Police and the local administration of the Galkacyo town.

Keating said that his aim to Glakacyo was to strengthen the security situation of the region.

Micheal Keating is also expected to have a meeting with the Galkacyo Armed Forces Officers, supported by the United Nations.
