Middle Shabelle court of appeal to start hearing the cases of many suspects in police custody

The newly appointed chairman of Middle Shabelle’s court of appeal stated that the court will soon start hearing cases of many detainee who are now in Jowhar police stations.

Shiekh Ahmed Ibrahim Siyad the new head of court of appeal affirmed that he will give first priority to make clear that the prisoners in Jowhar jails to meet justice before it is too late.

Mr. Ahmed mentioned that he will supervise police stations and the prison of Jowhar where many accused people mostly Al-Shabab suspects are now under custody.

Many people who live in middle Shebelle have severally complained of injustice and harassment from government forces.

The federal government of Somalia recently appointed Ali Guudlawe as the governor of middle Shebelle region to speed up the activities of the administration.
