Military commander dies of injuries sustained in Al-Shabaab attack on Dayah Hotel

The commander of Somalia’s prime minster, Nuux Hussein Hakar, bodyguards has succumbed to wounds he sustained in Hotel Dayah twin explosions.

Ha was pronounced dead last nigh at hospital in Mogadishu, where he has been undergoing medical treatment over last three days.

His relatives have confirmed the death of Hakaar who had been critically injured in Al-Shabaab’s attack on Dayah Hotel.

Late Hakaar who served years as serviceman, is expected to be laid to rest in the forthcoming hours, according relatives.

On last Tuesday, 10 people were killed and fifty others injured after twin explosions hit Dayah Hotel in Mogadishu.

Al-Shabaab group, which routinely targets government and business sites such as hotels frequented by government officials, has claimed responsibility.
