Military court executes Al-Shabaab member in Baidoa, Somalia

Somali military court on early Saturday executed Mohamed Adan Ali Barow an Al-Shabaab member.

The execution that took place at the outskirt of Badioa town was presided by Somali military court officials and other government officials.

Mohamed Adan Borrow was accused of killing a well-known religious leader Sheikh Madeer Mad Gabow Aliyow at a mosque in Baidoa town on 2017.

After the execution, the chairman of the military court colonel Hassan Mohamed Nur Shute has confirmed the execution for Goobjoog News.

“The executed member carried out assassinations and planned attacks in Baidoa town adding that they pleaded guilty before the court,” added Colonel Shute

Somali military court has before executed Al-Shabaab members and also government soldiers who were found guilty of killing another government soldier.
