Mohamud Siraji appointed as the new chairman Finance committee

Parliamentarian Mohamud Sirajji was elected as the new chairman of the Finance Committee following the dismissal of the top finance committee by the Lower House speaker Mohamed Mursal Abdirahman

Honourable Amina Sheikh Osman was also appointed as the Vice-chairman of the budget committee

The secretary general was elected Adan Ali Hassan which will replace the former secretary general of the committee Abdullahi Mohamed Nur.

The newly elected chairman of the National budget committee Mohamud Siraji is the brother of the former minister of Public Works and Reconstruction Minister Abbas Abdullahi Sheikh has been shot dead at the entrance of Villa Somalia on May 2017.
