MP Mohammad Hassan Gelle of Galmudug state accuses Puntland targeting people from the south regions of the country

MP Mohmmad Hassan Gelle accused puntland state of Somalia for deliberately targeting southern communities in the state.

In an interview with Goobjoog news Mohammad Hassan said targeting people from the southern regions of the country will not solve the security problem of Puntland. ‘  Puntland want to brand people from southern regions of the country as Alshabab. If they have any legitimate security concerns then they should follow the rules of the country’ said the MP

Recently suicide attacks in Galkio prompted social tension in a number of towns in Puntland state Of Somalia. Elders and politicians from the state called people from south regions of the country to leave.

Several Somali Federal MPs accused Puntland for failing to stop people targeting civilians from the south regions in their state.
