New Deal Pact Follow-up Retreat Opens in Garowe

A New Deal Pact meeting for stakeholders has been opened in Garowe on Tuesday, this is a follow-up meeting to evaluate the impact and the implementations of the deal after November, 2014 Copenhagen International Conference.

The meeting which will be on for two days is opened by Puntland president Abdiwali Mohamed Ali Gas and attended by Somali Federal Government and representatives from regional states and emerging states.

New Deal is international development pact for Somalia; it’s designed for the recovery of fragile states around the world.
