News Update: Officials injured in Wadajir attack

More information is trickling in from the deadly attack on Wadajir Administration block in Mogadishu that resulted casualties both death and injuries.

Preliminary reports Goobjoog News received says more than 5 people have died so far in the explosion and the injured nearing 15 persons.

A local resident who spoke to Goobjoog News said a Nissan Homy car wired with explosives and loaded with vegetables as a disguise exploded near the administration area of Wadajir district.

It is alleged that among the injured include the Commissioner of Wadajir Omar Abdullahi Hassan and other officials of his administration.

Injured persons have been rushed to hospitals across the city though casualties can be higher from the current estimation.

On the other hand, Alshabab has claimed responsibility for the attack through its website and according to them inflicted sufferings on government officials.
