One killed in car explosion near Mogadishu’s Hanano Hospital

One person died after improvised Explosive device reportedly fitted to his car went off near Hanano Hospital on Monday.

The man was reportedly heading to KM4 road when the car blew up, sources at the scene have said.

“He was driving towards KM4 when suddenly his car exploded” said witness.

The Law enforcement agencies reached the site and cordoned off the area as it the incident curtailed the movement of people and vehicles.

Sources told Goobjoog News that the person killed in the explosion was former federal MP.
