One person injured in car explosion in Mogadishu

One person has been injured in a car explosion at the junction of Kaaran and Shibis district in Mogadishu, eye witness have said.

The driver of a car was injured after it blew up at Via Balaad road in what is believed to have been an explosive device fitted on the car.

There was no immediate information regarding the incident but police officers have cordoned off the area for investigations.
