Over 300 Garissa terror attack survivors graduate

Former Garissa University College students who survived the tragic 2015 terror attack and were transferred to Moi University have finally graduated.

The over 300 students were among those who successfully complete their university studies well on time and lined up for the institution’s 37th graduation ceremony which took place in Garissa.

According to the Vice-Chancellor Professor Isaac Kosgei, the government and various donors from other countries came to the aid of the students through counselling and monetary support and ensured that they achieved their dreams.

The terror attack left at least 149 people dead.
