Police arrest four suspects for murder of government official in Garowe

GOOBJOOG NEWS|GAROWE: Police in Garowe have arrested four suspects among them three women for the murder of a local government official Sunday night.

A statement from the police indicated that the key suspect, Abdikafi Ibrahim Adan was arrested following information from the public. Adan was arrested alongside three women whom he was reported with at the time of the incident.

Police said Abdihafid Ahmed Warsame was killed by stabbing by the unidentified persons who fled the scene immediately after the attack.

Garowe mayor Ahmed Said Muse condoled with the family of the deceased and called on the public to cooperate with the police in bringing to justice the killers of the official.
