President Gas returns to Garowe

The president of semi autonomous regional state of Puntland Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gas and  his delegation returned to Garowe after official visit to Ethiopia.

President Gas and his delegation were warmly welcomed at Garowe airport by the vice president Abdiaziz Mohamed Amey and officials.

Holding press conference in the Puntland presidential palace, he  gave details of his trip to Ethiopia,  adding that their meeting focused on the bilateral relations between Puntland and Ethiopia, promoting trade and social services.

On the other responding to issues circulated by the local media denied that he met  with the Somali prime minister Abdiweli Sheikh in Ethiopia during his stay in the capital.

President Gas stated that the claims are baseless and far from truth, adding that there was no official meeting between him and the PM.
