President Hassan Muhamud receives Prime Minister Roble in his office

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: The President-elect of the Federal Republic of Somalia HE Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Monday received at his residence the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia HE Mohamed Hussein Roble.

Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble congratulated Hassan Sheikh on his historic re-election and wished him success as he assumes office.

In a statement congratulating Hassan Mohamud immediately after being declared winner, Roble said he hoped that the President-elect will lead the country in a process that will spur it to greater heights and that the Somali people will always come first.

The Somali Prime Minister has been lauded for spearheading the country’s electoral process, a process which saw the presidential poll held at the exact date set by Somali lawmakers.
