Puntland and Alshabab Fighting in the Northeast Region

Puntland security forces and Alshabab fighters are said to be engaged in a battle in Af-Urur location situated in the outskirts of the seaport town of Bossaso which is adjacent to the Gulf of Eden.

Eye witnesses informed Goobjoog News that the battle started when Alshabab fighters attacked military camp in the location occupied by Puntland forces.

Puntalnd Administration sent reinforcement of security personnel to the site of the war which is reported to be a fierce one.

Casualties are unknown so far and the stray bullets from the fight are reaching outside the warzone which might cause injuries or even death to people.
