Puntland calls for open dialogue with the federal government

Puntland state president, Said Abdullahi Deni, spoke at the Somalia Conference on yesterday in Mogadishu.

“I am so disgusted at such a conference that Puntland is not invited to the conference and the agenda that was taking place. In fact, we are disappointed why Puntland was not consulted and just seen that conference from the media,” President Said Deni said.

On the other hand, President Said Abdullahi Deni said that Puntland is ready to open dialogue with the Federal Government of Somalia.

However, the Somali Cooperation Conference which opened yesterday in Mogadishu was not attended by regional leaders of Jubbaland, Galmudug and Puntland.
