Puntland to Improve education needs of ‘Disabled children’

Children with special needs in Puntland have a reason to smile after the education ministry announced plans to improve their educational needs, Villa Puntland Reports.
Education minister Abshir Ow Yussuf Isse said plans were at an advanced stage to give blind and deaf children proper learning environment equipment.

He said orders have already been placed for the equipment and the same is expected in the country soon.
“We have submitted our orders and the same is expected soon” he said while speaking on plans by his ministry to improve the general educational standards of the State.

He announced the ministry will soon unveil special learning centers in all major towns for disabled children.
