Puntland’s President Reaches Kismayo

The president of semi-autonomous regional State Puntland, Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gaas has paid official visit to Kismayo town on Tuesday.
This is the first official visit Gaas since came to office.
Gaas was warmly welcomed at Kismayu Airport by officials of Interim Jubba Administration and escorted the IJA presidential palace.
He is expected to take meeting with the president of IJA Ahmed Mohamed Islam focussing on wide range issues including security, tightening bilateral relations and the trade between the two states according to IJa administration.
The president of South-west State, Shariif Hassan Sheikh who visited has signed security and trade agreements with IJA president.
