Qalbi Dagah freedom come to a request from the Somali government

Ethiopia’s ambassador to Somalia, Jamaal Omar Mustafa said the release of Abdirahim Sheikh Muse Qalbi Dagah come to a request from the Somali government and the Ethiopian government released Abdikarim sheikh Muse Qalbi Dagah on 27th June 2018 by considering the request.

Jamal Mustafa said: “I declare to every citizen interested in the issue of Abdikarim Sheikh Muse Qalbi Dagah, who was released on June 27, 2018, just two days ago before the release of a series of allegations of repeated fraud by the Federal Government of Somalia for the release of the citizen and considering the Ethiopian government’s release.

Abdikarim Sheikh Muse Qalbi was set up in Galkayo in the central region of Mudug last year and was brought to Mogadishu on August 2017 and later was deported to the Ethiopian government.

ONLF describes itself as “a national liberation organisation that struggles for the rights of the Somali people in Ogaden and has no involvement whatsoever in Somalia’s multifaceted conflict at all.”

Ethiopia’s new prime minister, Abiy Ahmed, who has championed political and economic reforms since taking office in April, has called on all previously banned political movements to give up rebellion and engage with the current government peacefully.
