Qoryoley general hospital that has not been functioning the recent few month since the clashes in the region started was reopened.
The administration of Qoryoley district in Lower Shabelle region has announced that the general hospital is open after months of conflicts in the region.
Qoryoley district commissioner Mohamed Haji Osman said the essential services of the hospital to the people has started adding that the administration getting a helping hand from the business people in region has succeeded to revive the activities of the hospital.
Mr. Osman also said that an NGO from Sweden has fully taken the management of the hospital.
The locals who were forced to go to other areas for medical checkups the recent months now welcomed the move of the administration to reopen the hospital.
