Rigid security operation underway in Galgala Mountains by Puntland forces
Puntland dervish security forces are carrying out solid security operation in Galagala Mountains to maintain peace in the region.
Some of the locations experiencing the firm security operations are situated outskirt of Bosaso town including Af Urur location and its surrounding areas.
It was 8th June 2017 when Alshabab fighters attacked a dervish military camp located in Af Urur location and killed dozens of Puntland security forces.
The security operation is aimed at thwarting attacks by armed men mostly from the hard terrain landscape Galgala Mountains.
It is reported from security officials of Puntland to be intending to secure soon the remaining entire range of Galgala Mountains so as to be under their direct control.
