Saudi Arabia Ban Books Authored by Sheikh Qardawi

Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia announced banning the entire books of Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi and is engaged on how to take off his books from the library shelves of Saudi universities.

A Press Release by the Minister for Education of Saudi Arabia said “the Minister for Education Ahmed binu Mohamed Al-Isa proclaim the quick removal all the books written by Sheikh Yussuf al-Qaradawi from the libraries of the universities, schools and the education department.

“If the books are taken off the shelves, they should not be considered again” added the Press Release.

The books written by the al-Qaradawi are perceived to be a real threat to the minds of the students both in the schools and universities.

Currently Sheikh al-Qaradwi is the head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars based in Qatar and has written many Islamic books touching on diverse topics.

It was last week on Thursday night when Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, UAE and Bahrain announced a joint declaration of fifty nine individuals among them Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi labeling them terrorists who are banned from the countries.
