Security operations in Leego nets several robbers

The local administration of Leego in the Lower Shabelle said it has detained several armed robbers in SNA uniform who used to rob passengers on Muqdisho-Baidao road.

Leego commissioner Mr. Abukar Abdullahi Isak told Goobjoog that the move is a big security achievement in the face of other major security challenges from Alshabab fighters.

He pointed out that the security operations carried out by security forces have targeted several gang hide outs after the administration tipped off by the public.

“We are here to serve the public and we to clear all thorns from the roads and public places so that everyone enjoys peace” he said.

The suspected robbers would be arraigned in court to answer charges and this move is to bring back and order in the country, specially recovered areas.

“Now the road is safe, everyone would be able to use, we caught the guys who were robbing the people” said the commissioner.
