Security sweep in Jowhar nets several suspects

Somali police force officials in Jowhar have commented on massive operations recently conducted by the forces in the town.

The door-to-door security sweep netted number of suspects and is part of series of operations aimed at cleansing organized crimes of the town according to officials.

In exclusive interview to Goobjoog News, Jowhar police commandant said that soldiers have carried out massive sweep to beef up the security of the district.

“The security of the town is progressing enormously and i call upon the residents of this town to collaborate with the government soldiers as to tighten the security” he said.
