Selection Process for Gedo MPs to Jubbaland Assembly Begins in Dooloow

Tribal delegates have started gathering and discussing the selection process for MPs in the Jubbaland assembly that is to be formed soon.

IJA Officials headed by first deputy president General Abdullahi Fartag are coordinating the conference which is only dedicated for Gedo region.

“We have good hopes about the conference, we wish to finish this process soon, and we don’t have much time left for us, this is for Gedo MPs to the Jubbaland assembly, much of the tribal elders are here” said IJA spokesman Abdinasir Serar who spoke to Goobjoog.

A parallel tribal conference for the same reason is currently underway in Garbaharey, but the IJA doesn’t recognize it and calls the organizers as spoilers.
