Six injured as explosion rocks Mandera town

Six people were on Monday evacuated to Mandera Hospital after an explosion at a shop near Blue Light Hospital in Mandera Town, North-eastern Kenya. Daily Naion reported.

Meanwhile, the Kenya Red Cross has temporarily suspended operations in Rhamu, a town inMandera North constituency, due to security concerns for its personnel.

On Sunday, an ambulance was attacked near the town and the ambulance operator injured.

Rhamu Town has been the scene of heavy fighting between warring clans since Sunday.
